Two years ago, Lucid Cafe Bali opened its doors with one dream — to create a place where strangers could slowly turn into regulars, and regulars eventually into family. Last week, that dream didn’t just feel real — it practically exploded into existence as the cafe filled from morning till night with laughter, clinking glasses, plates flying out of the kitchen, and stories swapped across tables like confetti.
No fancy stage. No over-the-top production. Just one tiny space that somehow held big energy.
🚶♂️ From Breakfast Rush to Dinner Cheers — Here’s What Went Down
By 10 AM, Lucid was already buzzing. Students in uniforms squeezed between brunch-goers, English-speaking expats chatted with Indonesian families, and somehow every table managed to turn into its own little party.
One group shared pancakes. Another joked loudly over sandwiches. Someone ordered a strawberry juice and an Americano at the same time — as if Lucid were a hydration spa and espresso bar in one.
Servers zipped from table to table with trays in hand and sweat on their brows—but still managed to deliver every plate with big grins and playful banter. You’d think they were hosting a festival, not running morning service.
And in a way, they were.

👨👩👧👧 Dinner Service Turned Family Reunion
By 6 PM, the lights dimmed, but the noise level didn’t.
A sporty-dressed father ordered dinner for his family — and ended up chatting with the next table for an hour. A young woman in hijab sat happily with her friend by the window, sipping iced matcha while chit-chatting. Newcomers walked in and hesitated, unsure if there were any seats left — before our team greeted “Welcome to Lucid!” and quickly arranged to set the table in the corner.
Then came the last moment:
Time’s run up, almost all menu sold out and we politely informed all diners…
“Thank you for coming, we’re closing for orders now as everything has sold out, truly pleased for your enthusiasm, hope to see you all again in our next year anniversary, God Bless!!!”
Everyone smiles while some still enjoy their Pannekoek ’till the last bite.

❤️ What Made This Anniversary Special
It wasn’t balloons or decor (although, yes, we had some).
It was the people — the ones who’ve been with us since Day 1, and the ones who just wandered in for the first time and somehow stayed longer than planned.
It was the chaos that never felt stressful, because in Lucid, even chaos feels cozy.
It was the plates stacked high in the kitchen, waiting to be delivered with urgency but also intention — every dish, every drink, every smile working together to say:
“You matter here.”
🎉 To Everyone Who Came — Thank You for Being Part of Our Story
Whether you came for coffee, conversation, or just to eavesdrop on someone else’s table talk (we saw you 👀) — thank you.
Lucid Cafe didn’t grow because of marketing or strategy.
It grew because people walked in, felt something, and came back with friends.
So here’s to Year 2 — more plates, more laughter, more strangers becoming familiar faces.
👀 What’s Next? Let’s Just Say… The Party Isn’t Over
If you thought our anniversary was fun, you haven’t seen anything yet.
Because in just a blink…
☕🎃 Spooky Sips & Thrilling Treats are creeping in for Halloween.
🎄✨ And right after — the coziest, cheeriest Lucid Christmas ever.
Think scary lattes, mystery games, glittering hot chocolates, and maybe even a Santa who drinks espresso.
Who knows? 😉
So stay close. Follow our updates. Or better yet…
👉 Just keep showing up.
Because at Lucid, you’re never just a customer — you’re already part of the celebration.
See you at the next table? 😉
