For Dilfa, the answer was immediate.

When Indonesians think about buka puasa, one dish often fills the table — Gulai. Rich in coconut milk, layered with complex spices, and deeply aromatic, gulai has long been associated with Ramadhan dinners and family gatherings.

If Lucid was going to introduce a Ramadhan special in Bali, gulai had to be part of it.

But there was one challenge:
How do we present gulai in a way that aligns with Lucid’s Western-style dining concept?
