ROAD TO PURI GADING

CHAPTER 3 : FAMILY COMES OVER

This chapter is about something simple but important.

We brought the whole team to Puri Gading.

At around 60% completion, the new space is still very much in progress. There are unfinished walls, open ceilings, and areas that still need structure and detail. It’s clearly not ready yet.

But for the first time, the entire Lucid team came together to see it in person.

Not just management.
Not just a few representatives.
Everyone.

Because if this move is part of Lucid’s journey, then it belongs to all of us.

Walking Through the Future Workspace

Progress at Puri Gading - Lucid Cafe Bali

When the team stepped inside, the energy was different from a normal workday.

There were no orders to prepare.
No tables to serve.
No rush to manage.

Instead, there were conversations.

Some stood in what will become the dining area, imagining how guests will move through the space.
Some walked through the kitchen area, discussing workflow and how things could be arranged more efficiently.
Some stood near what will later become the counter, picturing daily interactions with regular customers.

It wasn’t emotional in a dramatic way.
It was thoughtful.

Everyone was quietly visualizing how their role would fit into this new layout.

More Than a Team

Lucid often refers to its staff as family. This visit was a reminder of why.

Family doesn’t mean perfect.
It means growing together.

Over the past years, every shift, every busy weekend, every campaign, and every challenge has shaped how this team works. The move to Puri Gading is simply the next step in that shared growth.

Bringing everyone to see the progress was important for one reason:
So no one feels left behind in the process.

This is not just a new building being prepared.
It’s a new chapter for the same people who have carried Lucid this far.

Seeing Progress as Shared Effort

Lucid's Family

At 60%, the building still needs time.

But standing there together made something clear: the physical structure may still be forming, yet the foundation of Lucid — the people — is already strong.

The team talked about improvements.
They discussed ideas.
They asked questions.
They gave input.

That’s what makes this move meaningful.

Every improvement we’re able to make is possible because of the collective effort that continues every single day at Lucid’s current location.

And that includes our customers too.

Every visit.
Every order.
Every moment shared in the café.

All of it contributes to making this next step possible.

Moving Forward, Together

Chapter 3 is not about big announcements.

It’s about involvement.

As Lucid continues the Road to Puri Gading, one thing remains clear: this progress is not owned by one person. It is built by a team that shows up every day and by a community that continues to support the journey.

The walls may still be unfinished.

But the spirit of Lucid — teamwork, familiarity, and shared growth — is already present in that space.

And when the doors finally open in Puri Gading, they will open not just to a new location, but to a place shaped by family.
